FAQs: 7443CK Bulb Type▼
What is a 7443“CK” connection?
The 7443-CK is like the traditional 7443 bulb except the ground terminals are located on the same side of the connector. If the ground terminals are on opposite sides, it is a standard connector.
How do I know if I have a standard or CK bulb?
Many late-model Toyota vehicles (e.g. Tundra) and Jeep Wrangler JL front turn signals use a CK-type socket. Examine the original bulb — most CK bulbs will have “SRCK” printed on the base.
What happens if a standard LED bulb is used in a CK socket?
Only one brightness level will illuminate depending on the direction the bulb is inserted. The bulb may also cause a short-circuit when installed. Always verify your socket type before ordering.
I have a Sport model and I’m getting a signal-out error. How do I fix it?
This can be resolved by having the front turn signals changed to LED at your local Jeep dealership.
